Sunflower County Emergency Services protects lives and property through coordinated planning, rapid response, and effective recovery. Led by the Emergency Management Director/Fire Coordinator and supported by two Deputy Directors, the Training Division Chief, and the Chief Chaplain, we work together to ensure our county is prepared for any emergency.
The values embraced by every member of our organization are essential. They define who we are, shape our culture, and guide how we serve our community.
A dedicated workgroup recently reviewed our existing values and proposed meaningful updates, which were discussed, refined, and unanimously adopted by the team.
We are stewards of the public trust, committed to the fair and equitable treatment of all. We build strong community relationships through integrity, compassion, and unwavering professionalism.
